Illinois Unidos
Timeline: 2023 - Present
Outcomes: In 2023, Illinois Unidos began to work with Innovative Fundraising to create a robust development program, host an annual event, and secure large, multi-year, grants.
Established in 2020, Illinois Unidos is a coalition of 150+ Latinx healthcare providers, policymakers, experts, nonprofits, and leaders. This work is critical and our team members worked with the Executive Director to ensure it is funded for the long run. This looks like training staff and board members, fundraising plan development, project management, and support in event planning.
As of 2025, we have secured $100k+ multi-year grants and continue to foster an individual donor program.
Sunrise Movement
Timeline: 2019 - Present
Outcomes: Our first and longest running relationship is with Sunrise Movement. Sunrise is a movement of young people fighting to stop the climate crisis and win a green new deal. We have worked closely with their development team to create a donor stewardship program, individual donor program, and foster donor relationships. This looks like being a thought partner, delivering content that can be used as donor solicitation, and coaching staff on the strongest fundraising asks.
Florida Rising
Timeline: 2024 - Present
Outcomes: Beginning in 2024, we aided Florida Rising in a fundraising campaign to support the organization as their outgoing executive director transitions out. FL Rising raised $244,423 to increase capacity and support the mission as their current executive director enters the position. After this campaign concluded, Innovative Fundraising stayed on to support long term fundraising plans, phone banking, grant prospecting, and individual giving.
